We finally got a chance to find and explore a nature preserver, in Elgin, called Bluff Spring Fen. It’s a really nice place to go for a nature walk and see some animals along the way. We spotted two young dear, just down a hill from us, and many different kinds of bird. Quincy and I sat on a bridge and tossed stick into a small creek for a long time. He had a blast… and so did Mahra and I. I hope we make it back out there soon. I’d like to see it with all the new spring grown coming in.

Last weekend we attended a dinner, for my dad, to celebrate his recent election win for Junior Grand Warden to the Masonic Grand Lodge of Illinois. Quincy got to wear his new green suit, which he was very excited to do. Everyone in the family looked really nice and had a nice time.
