Our dog, Gracie, was sprayed by a skunk Sunday night. The following 24 hours were probably the worst of my life… or at least it seemed like the worst. She made it into the kitchen, but no father before being sent back outside. It was still enough to make the house smell horrible. It was a lot of work, but the smell is pretty much gone now.

The ironic part to all of this is that earlier that evening we were talking with Tamee and Erik about how their dogs caught a skunk and were sprayed only a few weeks ago. It’s like we have some kind of skunk epidemic or something. God, I really hope not.
