At a little after 8 am this morning Maggie was carried into the operating room to have a sebaceous naevus removed from the back of her head. It took about an hour and went perfectly. She’s doing great now. If it wasn’t for the head gear you won’t even know she had surgery today. She gets to take that off after 48 hours.

Yesterday we had Maggie’s christening. Over 20 family members and friends turned up for the event and lunch at our house afterwards. It was a really nice time. I have uploaded some select photos taken by Papa. Enjoy!

Yesterday, while walking to work, I got to see REO Speedwagon preforming on a boat in the middle of the Chicago River. Some stunt put on by Jonathon Brandmeier and The Loop (WLUP). If I had a phone with a decent camera I would have taken a picture to post. Oh well.

Spent the day home with two sick kids and two roofers. Had to have a new $700 roof put on the back porch. The good news it that the rain doesn’t run down the porch wall anymore. Sweet!
