When Maggie turned 8 months old we started using baby sign language with her (We did the same with Quincy). This past weekend she started signing back. So far she is signing:

- Milk (expect we call it Moe)

My best friend down here was a teacher for the deaf and hard of hearing, and all 3 of her girls were taught the signs for the basics around the house. What a wonderful thing it was for them to be able to communicate at such a young age. A lot less crying involved - for both the baby and the parents. :)
