My name is Ward Seward and WardofDesign is my personal website. The purpose of this website is to explain and demonstrate what I do and who I am.

Professional Ward

I began doing design after graduating in 1995 with a degree in graphic design from Illinois State University. Currently I work for HIMSS as a Web Designer. I also do contract work when time permits.

My web design skills include graphic design, HTML/XHTML, Javascript, Flash & Actionscript, Web Standards (the separation of structure and style), CSS1/CSS2, and 508 Compliance. I also have experience with project management, requirements gathering, and project presentation.

Personal Ward

On the personal side of my life, the majority of my free time is spent with my family. I am happily married to my love, Mahra, and have a 6 year old son, Quincy and an infant daughter, Maggie. We live in Elgin, IL (suburb of Chicago). Besides spending time with my family I also enjoy (when time allows) fine art, good music, rented movies, and relaxing.
