For those of you that don’t already know, one of my major life goals is to own only shoes that slip on. I guess buckles or Velcro are acceptable, but no laces allowed. I’m done with those pesky laces. Why? I guess the short answer is that I’m crazy. The long answer is that I’m crazy and figure it will save me some time (which I’m always running short on).

Anyway, about a week or so ago, Mahra (that’s my awesome wife in case you do not already know that) came home with a new pair of shoes for me. Some nice, comfy, brown leather Nunn Bush shoes. And they are SLIP ONS!!!

So, I’m just a little bit closer to my goal. It’s a happy time for me and my feet.

I would like to know who spent the winter training the entire insect kingdom to fly directly at my eyeballs — non-stop!

Tonight, while reading the bedtime books there was a part that talked about one character’s hobbies. I asked Quincy if he had any hobbies and this is what he said…

Liking girls, eating food, making money and doing other stuff.

The other night, Quincy was walking around with a bunch of cups and pretending to be a waiter. He kept offering different types of (pretend) juice. After awhile he got wacky and started offering up crazy types of juice followed by a description. Here are a few of my favorites.

Bumble Bee Juice - It’s just honey!

R2-D2 Juice - It will make you go Beep Beep.

Tongue Juice - Oh wait! Why would you want to taste something that can taste you back.

Recently I was going through a box of old stuff and came across a t-shirt that was signed by my 5th grade classmates. On it there were about 15 signatures and 3 of them are classmates that share names with currently famous people. I found that to be quite odd and interesting. Here are the names of those 5th grade classmates (whom are not famous, btw).

Steve Miller (famous version)

John Mathis (famous version)

Mike Myers (famous version)

I wonder what those guys are up to now a days.
